Community Well Being
Long Term Outcome:  Residents of Montgomery County will be physically healthy, live in safe communities, have affordable housing and engage in the civic life of the community.

#2 priority – Facilitating Access to Affordable and Quality Health Care
#4 priority – Prevention and Treatment of Drug and Alcohol Abuse

“The Montgomery County United Way touches the lives of so many, this includes making sure that health care needs are addressed for our residents. The Enhancing Well Being Council serves as the radar for our county residents. They are responsible for identifying potential gaps in health care needs and for encouraging providers to step forward to help meet these needs.
In the next five years, the Council should play a role in developing the strategic vision for improving the health and well being of our county residents.”
